Order Bumps

Activate an order bump on your payment page to increase your average cart value (ACV) and revenue.

How it Works

  1. Create a payment page and set up your main product - this could be a subscription or a one-time purchase. In this example, the main product we are selling is a subscription.
  2. Add an order bump to your payment page. This should be a different product than the main product you are selling on your payment page.
  3. Choose an order bump that compliments and increase the value that someone receives from the main product. In this example, the main product is a software subscription for a marketing app, and the order bump is a training that helps you level up your email copywriting skills.
  4. Price your order bump so that it’s easy for your customer to say “yes!”. A lot of times it can make sense to price your order bump less than $100 and also less than the price of the main product you are selling on the page. In this example, our main product is a $99/mo subscription, and the order bump is a $49 one-time purchase.

“Engineers tell me it'll take a day, but it always takes a week. Retool gives me every tool I want, in just a few hours. It's changed the trajectory of our business.”
